A.L.S., 2pp. 12mo., Salisbury, Sep. 4, 1931, to photographer Douglas Glass, inviting his correspondent to pay him a visit while he remains in England, promising: "...There is sherry to be had here - & a bed." John signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows original mailing folds with a spot of soiling to the bottom edge, else very good. Includes the original transmittal envelope.
